Area Overview
Tidworth is situated on the border of Hampshire and Wiltshire and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. The A303 runs alongside Tidworth making it easy to commute to and from. Tidworth is a large garrison town with Bulford Garrison just a few miles away. It is centrally located between London, Bournemouth, Basingstoke and Swindon.

The Activ8 bus runs regular services from Tidworth to both Salisbury and Andover.
The nearest train station is Gratley, though most people use Andover. South West Trains operate The West of England Main Line, running from London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids. Basingstoke is good for shopping and is around 25 minutes on the train from Andover.
Taxi services in Tidworth are accessible costing around £20 to Andover and £25 upwards to get into Salisbury. Agree your fare with the driver before you leave especially if you're off out to town on the lash. Some drivers offer to pick you back up at a set time saving you money and most drivers are allowed onto camp to drop you back at the block if you live in.
