Area Overview

Tern Hill is situated in the middle of the North Shropshire countryside, near to Market Drayton which is famous as the home of Gingerbread. The camp and Service Families Accommodation are in a fairly rural setting, although the busy A41 separates the two areas. Shrewsbury and Telford are both great for shopping and days out, and are within a 30 minute drive. North Wales is around 40 minutes drive away, and the M54 and M6 motorways are within easy reach.

Within walking distance of the SFA, there is Rainbows Daycare Nursery / Pre-School and Buntingsdale Infant School and Nursery. Secondary School – The Grove School in Market Drayton. Bus service provided from SFA.
