The quarters in Stubbington are all Officers quarters. They are a mixture of older style (1950) and new builds (2005).
The quarters are a 5 minute walk from the beach. There is a One Stop within walking distance and a number of Pubs. There is a good playing field along with a small play park.
All Supermarkets deliver and there is also chinese and indian and pizza delivery.
The older style quarters mostly have large garden (not private though, mostly chain link fencing)and are of a reasonable size.
The older houses are not terribly well maintained!! Damp is often a problem. The central heating systems are aniquated and thus costly to run. Cast iron gutterings are a problem. The bathroom on the whole are tiny, just room for a bath and basin, with toilet seperate, all have showers though. Kitchens are tired, all 1970's the usual backs falling off and broken draws. However the rooms are a good size and usually at least one bedroom has a sink.
The new quarters are pretty much what you expect form Barratt homes, room sizes are small as are garden, but you do get an ensuite.
