Area Overview
St Athan station is a large site split in to three. RAF (East side), Army (West side) and DSG in the middle. All the facilities on the station are available to service personnel and their dependants. Facilities include a Swimming pool, Gym, Golf Club, Cinema, Learning Centres, Medical Centre, Hairdressers, Post Office and more.
Llantwit Major (Llanilltud Fawr) (under 2 miles) is the closest town, Barry is approximately 11 miles away and bridgend is approximately 11 miles away. Cardiff is approximately 18 miles away and is easily accessible by road, bus or train, baring in mind this is a city sometimes it works out far quicker and cheaper to travel on the bus or train. There is everything in Cardiff, you can spend a day sight seeing or a day of shopping, there is something here for everyone of every age.
