Area Overview
Whittington Barracks is amongst the oldest military camps still in use today and is ideally situated between Lichfield City and Tamworth, Birmingham City Centre is also within easy reach. The SFA is all within a ten-minute walk from camp, there is also a community centre, pre-school and post office within easy reach of the married quarters. Whittington Village is also within walking distance from the estate.

Transport and Travel
The Arriva Bus runs hourly through the estate, it will take you to both Lichfield and Tamworth. Lichfield train station also runs regular trains to Birmingham and other stations.
