RAF Kinloss is situated on the Moray coast along with its sister station RAF Lossiemouth. Kinloss is approximately 3 miles from the small town of Forres and 27 miles east of Inverness. The nearest shopping town is Elgin 12 miles away.
Moray is a picturesque county with miles of beautiful beaches, forests and mountains along with many golf courses and distilleries. This area is renowned for the various outdoor pursuits available, be it on land, sea or air.
